JULY 1st 2008

UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Whom ever coined the phrase, 'time flies when your havin' fun" hit the nail on the head!! When I looked to see when the last time was that we gave you all an update. I realized that it has been almost a month!! Anyway, here we are at the first of July looking forward to celebrating  Independance Day 2008!!!

The month of June was full of action for New Life! We started the month off at Eastview Nazarene in Anderson, IN. A church we've been touring to for about 6 years now. We thoroughly enjoyed being back there this year and look to going back next year!! Also on the first, Christi celebrated her ?? Birthday!! She's not sure how old she is and the rest of us sure are not going to research that information. 
On the 14th we were afforded the opportunity to have a part in The Pfeifers Campmeeting 2008!! We were very excited to be apart of their annual sing!! This year the Pfeifers changed the billing from a Homecoming to a Campmeeting. So, Campmeeting is what it was billed and Campmeeting it was!!! The Lord came and truly blessed the evening with beautiful weather, a great night of singing, and most importantly, His presence!!! It was also a treat for us to be able to catch up and hang out with some old friends Robert Dixon and Justin Hill,who are currently apart of The Pfeifers ministry. Thanks Robert for making us sound good on the controls and thank you Justin for sitting in on our set playing the keyboard!! Awesome job guys!!!! And a BIG thank you to the whole Pfeifer Team for allowing us to be involved in your weekend of camp. 
On June 22nd we were at Lighthouse Baptist in Chillicothe,OH. It was amazing to see the history of the church there and how the Lord has blessed the folks at Lighthouse Baptist!! The 22nd was a big day as we sang in the morning service which was a full house for 'friend day', followed by a hog roast/pitch-in dinner on the grounds, and we finished off the day with a concert in the afternoon. God Bless you, Lighthouse Baptist as you fulfill you dream and vision of reaching all of Chillicothe, OH!!!!

Now we head into the month of July with a full month ahead of us!!! We are very excited about the 4th this year! New Life will be having a 4th of July fellowship with some friends and family of the group!! We'll be playing some basketball, ping-pong, the famous tailgating game called cornhole, and pretty sure the kids will be in the pool. Later in the day we'll be cooking out and finishing off the day with some fireworks that Aaron and Toby are overly anxious to let off!! Be sure to check out our PHOTOS page following the 4th to see some events and activities of the day!! 
We will be finishing out the weekend of the 4th at Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, OH on the 6th. New Life will be singing in the morning service and then providing an afternoon concert following a pitch-in dinner. If New Lifes' included you know there will be a pitch-in!! 
As the month continues our travels take us from Ohio to Michigan then down south to Virginia. So, be sure to check out our SCHEDULE page to see if we will be in your area. And if you are, come out and see us!! We'd love to see you there!!!!

We are currently in the process of planning our annual Harvest Celebration!!! We are very excited about some ideas that are in the works!! It is scheduled to be on the 11th of October at Cornerstone Baptist Temple in Dayton, OH. We currently have a talent line-up of Ricky Atkinson from North Carolina, Acclaim Quartet from Greenville, OH, and of course New Life Trio from Dayton, OH. As more events of New Lifes' Harvest Celebration become finalized we will let you know right here at the online home of New Life Trio. It is sure to be a fun filled day, so be sure to make a note on your calendar, check back here in the next few weeks for updates, and plan to be there on October 11th!
